Culinary tradition

The competition

The competition offers participants the opportunity to demonstrate and develop their culinary skills, while promoting the gastronomy of their country. The Culinary Team Greece, during the competition, cooked a meal which was inspired by the Greek Macedonian cuisine with the theme ``Roots``, which was defined by the organization. The dishes, with which the Greek team chose to compete, were based on products and flavors from the Greek Macedonian gastronomy traditions, such as feta, yogurt, lamb, sea bream, wine and olive oil. The rich Greek flavors, the team spirit, the good preparation and the professionalism impressed the judges and the audience and led to the Greek participation in obtaining the bronze medal.

Co-organization

The participation of the Culinary Team Greece took place in co-organization with the Region of Central Macedonia and the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia and under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and the Greek National Tourism Organization.
